Deformation Law of the Diaphragm Wall during Deep Foundation Pit Construction on Lake and Sea Soft Soil in the Yangtze River Delta

So far, there have been a large number of diaphragm walls in the Yangtze River Delta as engineering examples deep foundation pit maintenance structures subway stations, but is lack systematic research and summary on deformation characteristics ground connecting walls. This study aimed to clarify law wall during excavation soft soil region. Based monitoring data Hangzhou metro station, pits 15 stations Shanghai Ningbo cities around were considered. Grouping classification methods used analyze similarities differences three regions. The results indicate following: maximum lateral increases linearly with relative depth deformation. 0.072% H∼0.459% H, mean 0.173% H. varies significantly pit, influence considerably less than that Ningbo. corresponding position more affected by pit. rapidly range 0 H–0.5 occurs at 0.5 H–1.1
